Designer, Mentor, Teacher, Coach, Mom
“Genius is the ability to reduce the complicated to the simple.”
— C.W. Ceram
I think that quote perfectly sums up how I feel about myself not only as designer, but as a person. I believe that a positive experience, whether it is digital or in-person, is achieved by simplifying complicated ideas. Good UX is invisible. A helpful mentor or teacher breaks down difficult concepts into easy to understand components. A skilled coach shows how to take a large, scary goal and divide it up into smaller, easier to achieve goals. A Mom teaches her children how to do tasks step by step. All of these different aspects of my life have made me into the design leader I am today.

When I'm not working, you can find me hanging out with my family and 3 dogs in Austin, TX.
